ElectronicsΒ is the branch or field of applied physics or science and technology which deals(related) with electronic devices and their use, Or in which the flow of charges control. It is the study and application of behavior of electrons in various medium like gases, semiconductors and vacuum. It performs a specific task by using electricity.

1) It is used in various communication sectors. For e.g.Β Wire communication (telephone, telegraphy), wireless communications (phones, satellite, TV)
2) RADAR (radio detection and ranging) is the most important application of electronics, which is used to found exact position of enemy.
3) Electronics play vital role in the medical field such as pharmacy or hospitals. For e.g. X-ray, ECG etc.

Β It involves in such components like vacuum tube, transistor, and IC. Great scientist Thomas Alva Edison inΒ 1883Β found by his experiment that electrons can flow from one metal to another metal through vacuum which is called Edison effect and it related with conductors. Sometime later the vacuums were replaced by transistor because they have low cost, size, efficiency, power consumption and many more. InΒ 1952, the concept of IC (integrated circuit) was found by Geoffrey W.A Dummer.
